The Huddersfield Veterans is sad to announce the death of Raymond Radford, a very well liked and active member of the Association, who passed away on 20th March, 2021.
He will be remembered for many things, but in particular taking his “doggy bag ” away from any function that he attended, filled with sandwiches and cakes, never letting anything go to waste!
Raymond will also be missed on Veterans’ collection days, which he attended very regularly and rarely missed out on.
His fellow veterans and committee members would like to extend their thanks to Raymond, and express how proud the Association is to have counted him among our numbers for so long.
